Materi Dasar Anak OJT Di Candi Prambanan

Salah satu Praktek Kerja Lapangan Sekolah Pariwisata Jurusan UPW adalah menjadi Pemandu Wisata ( Guide ). Dan Objek Wisata yang saya pilih sebagai tempat Praktek sekaligus menimba ilmu diluar sekolah adalah Candi Prambanan.

Sebelum Praktek di lapangan alangkah baiknya kita belajar materi mengenai Candi Prambanan dahulu. Materi ini saya dapatkan dari Guru SMK saya, Guide Local Candi Prambanan, Mbah Google, buku di Perpusatakaan dll yang sudah saya ringkas agar mudah dipahami ( maybe ) ehheh

Berikut adalah contoh materi Candi Prambanan yang di pakai anak OJT ( On The Job Training ) atau lebih sering di sebut Praktek Industri.

==== Good morning Ladies and Gantelmen, how are you today ? welcome to Prambanan Temple. First of all I woud like to introduce my self. I’m trainning in here, my name is Estu Putri Utami and you may call me Uut. I’m student from Vacational High Shcoo 4 Jogjakarta and If you don’t mind I would like to explain you about prambanan temple, do you mind ??

The park of Prambanan Temple has about 86 hectars. Here there are 4 temple complexes, one Hindhuist temple or Prambanan Temple and three Buddhist temples, they are Lumbung, Bubrah and Sewu Temple. The Hindhu temple of Prambanan was built in the 9^thcentury by Sanjaya Dinasty from Hindhu’s Kingdom. And the king name is Rakai Pikatan. The original name of Prambanan Temple was Shiva ghra, means the house of Siwa.

In Prambanan Temple there are 3 yards. Originally there were 240 temples in this complex. 16 temples in first yard, 224 small temples in second yard and then in the third yard there is no temple.

In the 11^th there was a big earthquake which destroyed the temple and the temple is totally broken. In 18^th Century the ruins of temple were dicovered by a Dutch named C.A Lons. Okay Ladies and Gantelmen I will show you about built this temple. Long time ago the local people built this temple not using cement or metal, but by interlocking system with male and female stone just like a puzzle.

Ok Ladies and Gantelmen this is a Temple structure. The temple is vertically divided into 3 parts:

· The based called Bhurloka symbolized the world of human being

· The body called Bhuwarloka symbolized the world of spirit

· And the top of temple called Swarloka the symbol of Nirwana the place of God.

SIWA TEMPLE

Ok Ladies and Gantelmen we are in front of Siwa Temple. This temple located in the between Brahma Temple an Wisnu Temple, it has 47 meters high and there are 4 rooms inside. The statue inside are Siwa Highest God, Siwa Highest Teacher, Ganesha, and Durga.

a. Siwa Highest God (Siwa Mahadewa)
Ok Ladies and Gantelmen please follow me in the first rooms. He is a Siwa Highest God. He is the God of destruction. He has 3 eyes, the third eye is on his forehead it can be used as a weapon to burn his enemis. He has 4 arms. He hold a rosary made from pearls. Bones symbolized the eternity, a flywisk symbolized eternal law, and a lotus symbolized perfection and purity. His vehicle is a bull and he stand on a yoni.

b. Siwa Highest Teacher (Siwa Mahaguru)

Now we are in second rooms. In the second rooms there is Siwa Highest Teacher. This statue has 2 arms. He hold a rosary and water jar when its filled with holly water, it symbolized knowladge and immortality. He has a long beard, moustache, an a big belly. He stand on a lotus.

c. Ganesha (Son of Siwa)

Next in the third rooms. In the third rooms there is Ganesha statue or the son of Siwa. Ganesha is famous as the God of knowladge. This statue has an elephant’s head and human’s body. He has 3 eyes and 4 arms. He hold his broken tusk, a skul bow, a rosary and an axe. His trunk is sucking the brain from the bowl symbolize sucking the knowladge. Ganesha also used his tusk as a pen to write Mahabarata story.

d. Durga (Wife of Siwa)

Ok, we are in last rooms. In the last rooms there is Durga statue or wife of Siwa. She has 8 hands. The right hands hold : cakra, hammer, arrow, and tail of Mahesa. The left hands hold : sankha, shield, a bow, and hair of Asura. Durga’s vehicle is a lion, an animal symbolize supermacy, power, authority, kingship, and energy. She stand on a demon bull called Mahesa and kill a demon Asuramardini who come out of the bull’s head. The local people call this statue as Roro Jonggrang.

BRAHMA TEMPLE

Well, we are in front of Brahma Temple. This temple has about 37 meters high. its located at the south side of Siwa Temple. Inside the temple there is Brahma Statue.

Brahma Statue

He is the God of Creation. He has 4 arms which hold lotus flower and water jar. He has 4 heads that represent 4 casts in the system Hindhu society, they are Brahmana, Kesatriya, Weisya, and Sudra. This statue stand on a yoni and lotus flower. His vehicle is swan, named Hamsa and his wife is Saraswati, she is the Goddes of Art and Learning.

Ramayana Story

On the wall Brahma Temple is carve Ramana Story, this started in Siwa Tempe but continues in Brahma Temple. The first Raamayana Story on the wall Brahma Temple are tell about a couple (Rama and Shinta), they are love each others. But because a big and bad giant named Rahwana, love to Shinta also than keep nap Shinta from Rama. Rama is so very angry know that his wife is lost.

WISNU TEMPLE

Ok Ladies and Gantelmen, we are in front of Wisnu Temple. Its located at the north side of Siwa Temple. Its has about 37 meters high. Inside the Temple there is a Wisnu Statue.

Wisnu Statue

You can see this is a Wisnu Statue. He is the God of Protection. He has 4 arms which hold a steel disc, seashell, as a war-trumpet and a club, a favorite weapon in ancient Indian wariors. Wisnu has more than 20 avatar, but 10 of them are the most populer. They are as a fish, turtle, pig, dwarf, human with lion’s head, Parasurama, Rama, Kresna, Budha, and Kalki. His vehicle is eagle named Suparna and his wife is Laksmi the Goddes of Wealth.

WAHANA TEMPLE (Nandi Temple, Angsa Temple and Garuda Temple)

NANDI TEMPLE

This temple is located in front of Siwa Temple. Its has 25 meters high. There are a big statue of bull and 2 small statue.

a. Ox

You can see this is a Ox Statue. Its vehicle of Siwa. Hinduist people believe it is holly animal and we can’t eat .

b. Surya Statue

He is the God of Sun. He stand on 7 horses, symbolized 7 colours of sun.

c. Candra Statue

He is the God of Moon. He stand on 10 horses, symbolized 10 shapes of moon.

ANGSA TEMPLE

This temple located in front of Brahma Temple. Its has about 22 meters high. Angsa (Swan) is the ransportation of Brahma. This temple is empty, the statue is missing.

GARUDA TEMPLE

This temple located in front of Wisnu Temple. Its has about 22 meters high.Garuda (Eagle) is the transportation of Wisnu. This temple is empty, the statue is also missing.

APIT TEMPLE

These two temples are flanking the above six temples as guardian temple. These temple might be used as a place meditation.

KELIR TEMPLE

The small temple is located beside the Apit Temple. The function of temple is refuse bad character.

PATOK TEMPLE

Patok Temple is famous with Sudut Temple also., because the temple located in every corner of the yard. Specially in the First yard, there are 4 Patok Temples or Sudut Temple.
